Really pretty and so creative. I love the story below about how the heirloom collection came about. Such a wonderful idea. You could even take your grandmother’s actual words and handwriting describing memories of the piece and lay those into the photo. I’m sure she’s so pleased with what you’ve done. Amazing!

The Heirloom Collection Story

I figured it was about time that I told you the story of how I came to create my Heirloom Collection package. I’ve always been obsessed with jewelry, especially vintage pieces, incidentally so was my grandmother.  She too was a collector of fun vintage costume jewelry as well as beautiful gemstones.  About 4 years ago,...

Alli - March 26, 2011 - 2:50 pm

I am seriously in love with your living room! Do you want to come decorate mine too? Your idea to create an album with these images is just inspiring…I am trying to think what I could do that with around my house! I am sure your grandmother is just over the moon!

Carrie - March 28, 2011 - 4:03 pm

Oh Jessica, the story behind these images is wonderful. I think back to my grandmother who passed and know that she would have been so touched by what you have done, as I am sure your grandma is. Wonderful!

penguin love

I took Caden to the Dallas Aquarium this week and was super excited to see the penguin “exhibit.”  It totally bummed me out to see there were only 3 total, these two that wouldn’t leave each other’s side and one super sad guy by himself lying still.  There weren’t any workers around to ask what...
