2010 was an awesome year for me and my family. We were so incredibly blessed, and I can honestly look back and say 2010 brought some of my fondest memories to date. It also was when I decided to leave the crazy hub bub of a 9-5 job and become a stay at home working mom (who now works 8am-12am). It’s a HUGE change, but I’m so freakin’ happy I did it and am having a blast with the little man and really truly enjoying growing my business.
The best part about having a photography business is that you can literally SEE the progress you’ve made, because, well, you documented it for the world to view. At the beginning of 2010 I did photography as a hobby, and pretty much had taught myself how to use my DSLR. By the end of the year I had taken numerous workshops, joined an insane amount of online communities, upgraded my camera and got really excited about where I’m going with my photographic journey.
Here’s a little look into where I started and where I ended up in 2010
