As a compulsive over achiever I often over commit myself and put way to much on my plate to juggle. Every so often things come to a head and I have to take a step back, inhale, and recenter. These past couple of weeks were spent doing just that, taking deep breaths, spending some amazing uninterrupted quality time with my family and refocusing.
I highly suggest you do the same. With today’s amazing online media outlets and all of the social networking services available, it’s not that hard to watch hours pass by a blink. If you too are feeling stressed or stretched too thin, take a little time to reevaluate how you are spending your time. Did you just spend an hour reading facebook statuses of people you haven’t talked to in 10 years? Or find yourself reading a blog on how to cook amazing baked goods, but now you don’t have time to actually do the baking? Take a step back, take a deep breath, and decide what is most important to YOU. Then make those choices a reality.
